Abstract: Objective: The purpose of this study is to rank public libraries in Khorasan Razavi province based on Multi Attribute Decision Making Method. Methods: The study was a descriptive survey. The sample consists of a total of 98 urban public libraries under the Iraninan foundation of public libraries in Khorasan Razavi, and 100 employees and librarians working in public libraries were chosen randomly. For collection data a checklist and a researcher made questionnaire were used. The questionnaire validity was verified by professionals and experts in the field of public libraries and the reliability of questionnaire was verified and confirmed through Cronbach alpha test and test-retest method. Results: The findings showed that the indicators in ranking public libraries through which the state of access to the libraries and collections, facility and speed of the process of membership were identified as important factors. And also overall indexes of human resources, access, services, acceptance, technology, space, equipment and resources were identified important indicators, respectively. The findings also showed that libraries of Shahid Bahonar Kakhk, Shahid Sayyad Shirazi Dargaz and Hasheminejad Bidokht were as high ranked libraries respectively. Meanwhile shohaday Mashhad, Beyt al Hoda Sabzevar and Nawab Safavi Mashhad libraries were at the bottom of the rankings list. The study showed that the rank of the majority of libraries (73 libraries) were lower than the foundation of public libraries ranking list. The results showed that there is no significant relationship between the scores of indicators used in this study. No consistency was found between the indicators of Iranian Foundation of pulic libraries and the proposed indictors used in this study. Conclusion: It is not possible to achieve optimal scores in all evaluation indicators for a public library, and getting high scores in one evaluation indicator or more does not make it possible to identify a functioning library, so evaluating and rating public libraries should be based on multiple evaluation indicators and multi-indicator decision-making techniques that could be relevant in determining the ranking and effectiveness of a library. According to the results of the research, it is suggested that in the ranking of libraries, more attention should be paid to the quality indicators in the evaluation of libraries. It is also suggested that the decision makers of the Iranian Foundation of public libraries get the opinions of experts in public libraries, professors of information science and specialized librarians the field for collecting important indicators to evaluate public libraries. In order to make more objectivity and realizing the rating of public libraries, this study tried to rank them according to management techniques such as TOPSIS

Purpose: People utilize a variety of information resources by using multiple strategies to get notified, remain current and track the changes of their expert fields. This requires human interaction with information for seeking information, that helps the individual to search, find, retrieve and use it effectively. Information-seeking behavior can be defined as the response on individual to information needs. The results of previous studies show that information-seeking behavior is influenced by various factors such as information processing styles, anxiety and information utility. So, This study aimed to investigates the effect of information processing style on information seeking, and its moderation by information anxiety and utility. Methodology: The applied research was carried out using a survey-descriptive method. The statistical population of the study consisted of 9,500 students of Islamic Azad University of Ahwaz, which was selected using the Cochran formula (370 people) in a relative sampling method. A researcher-made questionnaire was used in five levels of Likert spectrum to collect data. The validity of the tool was determined by its formal and content method and its reliability was determined using the Cronbach's alpha coefficient at the desired level (a = 0.91). Data analysis was analysed using SPSS and Amos software for structural model test. Findings: The findings of the research showed that between the the Analytical information processing style (R = 519 & Sig. = 0.51) and intutitive information processing style (Sig = 0/39 = 0/001 = r = 0/001) with information seeking behaviour were significance and positive relation. Meanwhile, the two variables of perceived utility of information (1%) and anxiety (2%) affect the relationship between information processing styles and information seeking behavior; and the effect of anxiety is greater than the perceived usefulness of information. Conclusion: Information processing styles, especially the analytical information processing style by perceived utility and anxiety predictes the informational behavior. Meanwhile, the effect of information anxiety and utility as a mediator variable are positive and significant. Accordingly, it can be argued that individuals with an appropriate level of anxiety and perceived utility of information have a powerful stimulus in the processing of information and information-seeking. Although it was anticipated that information anxiety as a mediator variable had a negative effect, but it’s effect was positive that may be on the controllable level of student anxiety. Therefore, it is suggested that the skills related to the information processing styles be taught to students so that they can demonstrate appropriate information-seeking behavior during their educational and research activities.

Objective: The objective of this present paper is to investigate Incongruity appreciation in pre-school children’s animated and non-animated pictorial humor stories. Methodology: The participants in this study are 100 preschool children aged 4-6. To do so, we show the participants a part of Tom and Gerry humor animation and a 6 levels picture with humor concept of my daddy and I stories book. The present study is to investigate the answers of these two fundamental questions: what Incongruities do children appreciate in pictorial humor stories? And what difference does gender make in their explanation of humor appreciation on the basis of incongruity theory? Findings: Findings show that these pre-school children are capable of recognizing incongruity in pictorial stories (animated and non-animated) and they can appreciate and present story funny situations via watching pictures. They can appreciate incongruities in a laughable picture by comparing that picture with their mind schemata. X2 Pearson shows that in pre-school ages, regarding appreciating pictorial humor (animated and non-animated) no significant difference was observed between girls and boys. It seems that if meaningful difference exists between two sexes, it will reveal itself after pre-school ages. Objective: Considering the importance of knowledge-based companies, this study aimed to determine the framework for the establishment and development of these companies in Humanities. Methodology: In this research, a qualitative research grounded theory method was used, utilizing a set of data for the theory establishment. The statistical population consisted of specialists, experts and managers of knowledge-based companies located in Khuzestan province. In-depth interviews were conducted to collect data from 16 samples from among people described above who were selected through targeted sampling. The main criterion for determining the sample size was to achieve a theoretical saturation point. Findings: Based on the procedure of grounded theory, during the triple stages of coding, open, axial, and selective, 403 open sources and 289 final extracted codes were constructed in the form of 79 concepts and categorized into 6 main categories and 30 subcategories. Open coding consisted of subcategories related to causal, contextual, mediating and pivotal conditions and also strategies, and consequences. The axial phenomenon is based on establishing and developing of Knowledge based companies in Humanities. The theory is represented at the selective coding stage (theorizing) according to the research results. Conclusion: The pattern extracted analyzing the findings of the research, included four steps: the initial idea, the research and development step, the step of transferring the research results, and the productivity step; also six main strategies were obtained including: management and policy, educational and research activities, platforms and infrastructures, communications and scientific networks, publication and dissemination of knowledge and innovation. Combining variables and the six main strategies, the final model of the process of creating and developing knowledge-based companies in the Humanities was formed. The process of creation and development begins with the creation of ideas, and then covers the stages of scientific research and development of the idea, achievement of results and findings, documentation and transfer of results, making the research findings practical and efficient, the market presentation and the preservation of business position. In order to achieve this goal, it is necessary to consider and provide a broader view of how to set the conditions and factors affecting this process and its various prerequisites. In other words, in order to succeed in establishing the knowledge-based companies and their development in the fields of Humanities, it is necessary for the academic sector to develop the capacities and capabilities needed to create, develop and transfer research results. This requires the ability to reform research policies, institutionalizing, gaining expertise and skills and etc. In the macroeconomic, political and legal environments of the country, there should also be favorable conditions for the establishment, development and transfer of technology from the academic sector.
