Purpose: The aim of this study was to investigate and identify the rules of marking and punctuation in the selected dated manuscript in the library of Astan Quds Razavi and some other libraries.
Methodology: This applied research was conducted through an analytical survey method. By reviewing the manuscripts in Astan Quds Razavi and after consulting with some experts working in this section, 6 dated manuscripts related to the considered subject and period as well as 6 manuscripts from other valid libraries were selected using purposeful sampling method.
Results: By systematically examining and categorizing the signs used in selected manuscripts until the Timurid era, it was found that the sign (grear spot) and the sign "letter ﻫ" each with 41%, "three-point- triangle and three-point diamond” with 34%, were most used among the pictorial signs. Among the most widely used text signs with the letters in the manuscripts, "strain letters" with 50%, "spacing" and "vermilion writing" with 40% were at top. In 76% of selected manuscripts, the both types of signs were used.
Conclusion: This study showed that the forms of "visual cues" and "signs with text letters Edition were used for marking in manuscripts. All these signs were used for separation and distinction and in most manuscripts both signs were used.

Purpose: The purpose of this research is to determine the role of Telegram, a social mobile network, in developing the services of academic central libraries of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology (MSRT) between the managers and librarians.
Methodology: This is a descriptive-analytic research conducted through a survey method. In the first part, two checklists were provided for the academic library services as well as activities of the central libraries of the universities of MSRT (including Sharif University of Technology, University of Isfahan, Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, and Shahid Chamran University of Ahwaz) providing services. In the second part, a researcher-made questionnaire was distributed among 102 managers and librarians of the mentioned libraries which launched a Telegram channel in 2015-2016. Data were analyzed in two levels of descriptive and inferential statistics using SPSS Software.
Results: The findings showed that information services were provided at three central libraries of the Sharif University of Technology, Ferdowsi University of Mashhad and Shahid Chamran University of Ahwaz, and borrowing services at the central library of the University of Isfahan. The data analysis of the questionnaire revealed that managers and librarians’ attituded for the development of library services including borrowing with a mean of 3.50, informing with a mean of 3.39, reference with a mean of 3.29, information technology with a mean of 3.30, and education and research with a mean of 3.35, which was generally at moderate mean. There was also a positive and significant relationship between the variables of the Telegram social network and the academic library services.
Conclusion: The results of the research showed that most libraries used the social network of Telegram to present news and events of the library. Considering the importance and efficiency of the Telegram social network in providing the borrowing services, informing, reference, information technology and education and research, it is suggested that related measures should be considered for its proper use in relation to the development of academic library services through Telegram.

Purpose: The purpose of this research was comparing the indicators and criteria of ranking systems with the concepts and requirements of the upstream documents of Iranian higher education, as well as the degree of appropriateness of the ranking models for ranking of universities in Iran.
Methodology: This was an applied research and a comparative study. Through studying the indicators and criteria of 12 ranking systems of universities, the contents of upstream documents of Iranian higher education, as the communicated strategies, have been analyzed and the concepts were extracted in the terms of open and axial coding. The open codes compared with the indicators and criteria of university ranking models through the quality function deployment approach.
Findings: The text of 7 upstream documents of higher education analyzed and 241 statements and 36 main concepts have been extracted. The extracted concepts were matched with 26 main indicators of international university ranking models.
Results: The results showed that only 69% of the open codes extracted from the upstream documents have been considered in the existing university ranking models and 31% of them were not seen in ranking systems at all. It seems that the desirable values and measures of upstream documents must be carefully considered in the Iranian university ranking.

Purpose: The aim of this study was to identify the inconsistencies of recording the titles of institutes and research center affiliated with the Iranian Ministry of Science, Research and Technology (MSRT) and its consequences on the recall of retrievals in Thomson Reuters.
Methodology: This was an applied study conducted through a survey method. The population of this study consisted of all indexed documents by Iranian researchers of institutes and research centers affiliated with the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology in Thomson Reuters during 2000-2016. Totally, 403 variant formats for 25 studied organizations were investigated.
Findings: Results showed that an average amount of 16 writing variants has induced for each institute or research center title. Acronyms, misspelling, abbreviations, syntactic permutation, space variations, title changing of the organizations and not following the same pattern in recording were the most important reasons for inconsistencies. Besides, except two cases, all institutes and research centers variant formats of affiliations had negative impact on the recall.
Conclusions: Regarding the inconsistencies and lack of observed unity in recording affiliations and the negative impact on retrieving the titles of institutes and research centers, their ranking in international ranking system and so on, it is essential to take some efforts in order to unify affiliation. In this regard, defining standard affiliation by policy makers of each organization and obligating the researchers to use defined affiliation are the most important suggested solutions.

Introduction: The Lavame’e treatise is one of the few fascinating texts of Persian language and literature, which is important for its deep mystical themes and high literary and artistic values as well. These two attributes caused the Lavame’e to be considered by both the mystics and scholars simultaneously. In the past, some of the Jami’s treatises such as “Asha’at-ol-Loma’at” and “Favaed-ol-zia’eiah fi sharh-ol-kafiyah” were textbooks of the seminary (Hawza) and the existence of many manuscripts related to his treatises and poems also showed the attention of scholars and scholars to his works. In this treatise, Jami translated and interpreted the poems of Ibn Fariz to facilitate the enjoyment of mystical treasures, so called his work “Lavame’ anvar-ol-kashf va al-shohud ala qolube arbab-el-zoq va al-vojud”.
Purpose: This study aimed to introduce briefly the valuable manuscripts in Iranian libraries and also to illustrate the Jami’s stylistic features in this treatise.
Methodology: the eclectic style, which is a combination of deductive and basic methods, was the correction method of this pamphlet and it was developed by comparing nine valuable manuscripts of libraries in Iran, India and Hagia Sophia with one of the editions in Malek library as the basic edition.
Results: In this pamphlet, Jami utilized the specific writing styles to make the hard Syntax and Morphology and philosophical-mystical subjects interesting.
Conclusion: Jami’s Lavame'e is one of the brilliant mystical interpretation texts which can be considered as the appropriate model for modern interpretations.

Purpose: The aim of this study was to determine the relationship of learning experience development through class participation with emotion regulation, anxiety, and depression among students of KIS in Razi University.
Methodology: This was an applied research that conducted through survey method. The population of study included 120 KIS undergraduate and graduate students in Razi University during 2016-2017 whom 92 of them were selected based on Krejcie- Morgan- sample- size- table. Data were collected using the questionnaires of “development of learning through participation”, “anxiety and depression” and “emotion regulation”.
Results: The results showed that from the students’ view, the average of learning through class participation and its dimensions was higher than the moderate level. The highest frequency belonged to the nature of lessons and class participation (4.02) and the lowest rate was related to the barriers of participation in class (2.84). Generally, The results showed that there was a significant relationship between variables of learning through class participation, anxiety and depression, and emotion regulation.
Conclusion: Learning through class participation is one of the pedagogic methods more effective than other different methods of teaching and learning that has been proposed by experts. More efforts and studying by anxious and depressed students lead to improvement of academic performance and enhance learning. Therefore, turning classes into active groups of questions and answers will give students an opportunity to participate actively and develop their classroom learning.
