Introduction: Marginalia are one of the most important parts of the content of manuscripts. The study of their content provide valuable information to researchers in the field of codiclogy so that it can be helpful to better identify, evaluate, and further elaborate these texts.
Purpose: The main purpose of this reseach was to study and analyze the marginalia of the manuscripts donated by the Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei to Astan Quds Razavi Library. So far, no in-depth and significant research has been done on the identification of marginalia with reference to significant number of manuscripts. Extensive research on examining of subject of marginalia of a number of manuscripts, can explain the position and scientific value of them.
Methodology: This study was conducted through a descriptive approach using content analysis method. Data were collected using a researcher-made checklist. The statistical population of the research consisted of 18,000 manuscripts donated by the Supreme Leader to the Astan Quds Razavi Library which 100 of them were selected through quota sampling method based on various subjects of this collection.
Results: The research findings showed that the extent and the subject-matter of the marginalia with the text of the manuscripts were as follows: Text correction 45.5%, explaining and expressing the phrases 35.2%, the meaning of vocabulary and terms12.5%, and index of contents 8/6 %. Concerning the insertion of marginalia writer’s name and date, the findings indicated that in the most of the marginalia (about 81 %) no author name had been inserted and only in a small part of the manuscripts (with a frequency of 19%) the name of the marginalia writer was appeared. In addition, most marginalia (with a frequency of 79%) had not been dated.

Purpose: This research aimed to investigate the Quranic illuminations of the Timurid era preserved in Astan Quds Razavi Museum and to identify the Qur'anic figures such as: Shamsa, opening prayer, frontispiece, text pages (page margins), verse marks (Juz’, Sajdah, Hizb), the flower of the verses, the list of Surahs and ending pages, deals with the layout and structure of the form of paintings and colors.
Methodology: The present research was conducted through a descriptive-analytical survey method. The needed data were collected through library resources and collecting pictures available in the museums. By studying the Qur'anic works available in the museum of Astan Quds Razavi and consulting with the experts of this department, seven exquisite manuscripts related to the Timurid era and the subject matter of this study were selected using targeted sampling method. By examining these manuscripts, the characteristics of their figures were specified.
Results: The findings showed that the structure of visual elements included types of decorative motifs including arabesque, khataei, geometric, and calligraphic patterns. Arabesque motifs with 38.8% were the most frequently used decorative motifs, and calligraphy (27.3%), khataei flowers (22.4%) and geometric patterns (3.4%) were distributed on the pages. The layouts were structured in 3 inscriptions, 5 inscriptions and 6 inscriptions. On average, pages were decorated with gold divisions. Azure and gold were the most frequently used colors in these works.
Conclusion: Considering that the Astan Quds Razavi Museum is one of the great collections in the world and housed the most precious illuminated Qurans, the Qur'anic manuscripts of the Timurid era have outstanding features, including strength, logic, order and rhythm, symmetry, organized structures, and golden layouts. Therefore, the recognition of the formal structure of decorative elements - visual and written elements- and their application in the Quran decoration is necessary for an accurate understanding of the authenticity of motifs. The original decorative motifs such as arabesque, khatei, geometric patterns as well as calligraphy styles such as Naskh, Mohaqiq, etc. have been used to decorate the Timurid Qur'ans, which describe the original features of the Timurid Quranic illuminations, and using these analyzed elements play a crucial role in strengthening the intellectual foundations of the artistic educational system of Iran.

Purpose: This study aimed to investigate the relationship between social influence with productivity and performance of researchers in Quran and Hadith Studies.
Methodology: This research was conducted using scientometrics’ prevalent techniques, such as co-authorship and network analysis. Quran and Hadith Studies indexed in Islamic World Science Citation Center (ISC) during 2006-2015 comprised the population of study. The researchers have used a combination of BibExcel, UCINet, and NetDraw for matrix generation and mapping of Quran and Hadith Studies.
Findings: Based on the data analysis, the average number of authors per article was 1.6 in the field of Quran and Hadith. Moreover, the average citation per article was 0.1, which indicated that researchers in this area did not refer much to each others’ articles. Findings also showed that there was a significant relationship between social influence and productivity, as well as social influence and performance. In addition, the results indicated that the social network of researchers in the field of Quran and Hadith was loose and low-density.
Conclusion: The results of this study indicated that the Quran and Hadith scholars had a low level of collaboration and rarely refered to the works of their colleagues. The results of regression test showed that 10% of variance related to performance was determined by social influence (R2= 0.109) and 22% of variance related to productivity was determined by social influence (R2= 0.218). So researchers in this field should try to form research teams and have a co-authorship strategy.

Purpose: This reserach aimed to identify the industries involved in university- industry co-publications in Iran.
Methodology: The university- industry co-publications of Iran during the period of 2010-2015 were searched in citation indexes of Web of Science by the authors’ organizational lable. After omitting the irrelevant documents, 1280 documents formed the research population. The co-authorship analysis in this research was carried out at the organizational level between industrial organizations and universities. In order to rank the industries that cooperated with Iranian universities, "International Classification of Industrial Standard All Economic Activities " was used for the classification of industries.
Findings: The analyses of co-published documents revealed that the highest co-operation was between "manufacturing industries" and universities, and "mining and quarrying industry" ranked the second. In the first category “manufacture of coke and refined petroleum products” ranked first and “manufacture of pharmaceuticals, medicinal chemical and botanical products” ranked second, in the further category “Manufacture of pharmaceuticals, medicinal chemical and botanical products” had the highest rate of co-publication.
Conclusions: The knowledge- based Industries and the fundamental processes industries had the highest co-publication with universities, which was due to the reliance of these industries on academic knowledge and new technology. On the other hand, the abundance of oil and gas mines in Iran and Iran's dependence on oil economics is another reason why Iran had a large number of co- publication with mining and quarrying industries and universities. The results of this research could be applied in adopting research policies.

Purpose: This study aimed to identify how to diagnose technology life cycle of endoscopy by using data patents and hidden Markov model.
Methodology: This applied research was conducted through a descriptive approach using exploratory method. The statistical population of this study comprised all 4915 patents in the field of endoscopy, which were published in the United States Patent and Trademark Office from 1976 to 2015 that were extracted using the Uspto1 and Ravar Premap softwares. The patents were examined using the hidden Markov statistical model.
Results: The findings of this study showed that endoscopic technology was in the saturation stage of its life cycle and innovations in this field were lower than other fields due to market saturation.
Conclusion: Technology transfer from one stage to another stage of the technology life cycle could be recognized based on significant changes of the average index of patents and the probability of being in a particular stage of the technology life cycle was possible by using hidden Markov model. In addition, Integration of indicators of patents on hidden Markov model could provide comprehensive and balanced view of technology life cycle and would facilitate decision-making of firms based on it.

Purpose: The aim of this research was to explain the theoretical paradigm of user’s loyalty to public libraries in Kerman.
Methodology: This study adopted a qualitative approach based on the grounded theory. In-depth interview was the method of data collection and after interviewing 18 members of the public libraries in Kerman, theoretical saturation was achieved. The collected data were analyzed via theoretical coding and content analysis.
Results: The findings of this research resulted in a theoretical paradigm consisting of six parts, including the main event, causal conditions, backgrounds, strategies, interventions and outcomes. Each of these parts contained categories and areas resulted from in-depth interviews with the research samples and included various sections. The resulting model was mainly concerned with loyalty phenomenon in those referring to the main public libraries in Kerman and the causal conditions were linked to the main research phenomenon which means that various conditions involved in the formation of this phenomenon.
Conclusion: libraries like any other organizations must carry out loyalty programs. Some users may use the services of a library a few times and become loyal to it, or never use that library services again. The results of this research showed that observing moral and humane principles played a crucial role when dealing with library users in building loyalty and was a key factor in attracting customers. Moreover, factors such as service quality, proper interior design, provision of diverse and updated information resources and taking advantage of cyberspaces should be considered.
