چکیده

هدف:
بررسی و تحلیل کارکرد و نقش کتابخانه ها در دوران حکومت صفویان
روش شناسی:
از روش کتابخانه ای مبتنی بر کتابها، نسخ خطی و اسناد استفاده شده است.
یافته ها:
در عصر صفوی حیات و کارکرد کتابخانه ها شامل دو دوره می باشد. دوره اول مربوط به سده دهم هجری و زمان حکومت شاه اسماعیل و بخشی از زمان شاه طهماسب می شود، امتداد نقش و کارکرد کتابخانه های قرن نهم و به ویژه کتابخانه های تیموریان در خراسان است که در آن، وظیفه اصلی کتابخانه ها، تولید و آفرینش نسخ نفیس با بهره گیری از عالی ترین سطح هنرهای کتاب آرایی است. دوره دوم که زمان شاه عباس و پس از آن را در بر می گیرد، به دلایلی چند و از جمله لزوم تدوین آثار دینی – فقهی مذهب تشیع که در جامعه ایران آن روزگار با کمبود مواجه بوده، کتابخانه ها و مجموعه منابعشان عمدتا به سمت گردآوری این گروه از آثار سوق پیدا می کند. تحول دیگری که در این مرحله رخ می دهد، مطرح شدن زبان فارسی به عنوان زبان نگارش متون مذهبی برای استفاده عموم افراد جامعه ایران است.
نتایج:
وظیفه اصلی کتابخانه ها، آفرینش نسخه های خطی نفیس با بهره گیری از سرآمدان عرصه های نگارگری و خوشنویسی و کتاب آرایی بود. توجه به کتابخانه ها در مقام حفظ و نگهداری آثار مکتوب علما و فقهای شیعه بود که تحولی محسوس در نقش و عملکرد کتابخانه های مهم این دوره به شمار می آید.

Target:
Study and analysis of the function and role of libraries during the Safavid rule
Methodology:
A library method based on books, manuscripts and documents has been used.
findings:
In the Safavid era, the life and function of libraries include two periods. The first period is related to the tenth century AH and the reign of Shah Ismail and part of the reign of Shah Tahmasb, is a continuation of the role and function of the ninth century libraries, especially the Timurid libraries in Khorasan, where the main task of libraries is production and creation. Exquisite copy is taking advantage of the highest level of the art of book decoration. The second period, which covers the time of Shah Abbas and after, for several reasons, including the need to compile religious-jurisprudential works of the Shiite religion, which was in short supply in Iranian society at that time, libraries and their collection of resources mainly to collect This group of works leads. Another development that occurs at this stage is the introduction of Persian as the language of writing religious texts for the general use of Iranian society.
Results:
The main task of libraries was to create exquisite manuscripts using the best in the fields of painting, calligraphy and book decoration. Attention to libraries in the position of preserving the written works of Shiite scholars and jurists was a significant change in the role and function of important libraries of this period.
